My Employee Experience

Illinois Value Proposition

Illinois Value Proposition (IVP)

Our Illinois Value Proposition (IVP) is based on the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) concept. An EVP highlights the offerings, benefits, and values an organization offers to employees in exchange for their skills, capabilities, and commitment. Instead of having a generalized approach, we wanted to focus on what makes working at Illinois unique and highlight special characteristics about the University. This led to the Illinois Value Proposition (IVP). The IVP reflects employees’ thoughts and feedback that was shared during Conversation Cafes held throughout campus in early 2024.

What’s Your IVP?

The IVP Model Builder is an interactive tool designed to help you explore what makes working at the University of Illinois special.

The IVP is broken into three key areas: Tangible, Emotional/Social, and Organizational Landscape. Click on the buttons below for specific information on each area.
